Job Title: Offshore Installation Manager (OIM)
Location: Nigeria
Job Description
- The
OIM is to be in charge of the safety of the Vessel and crew members as
well as all Legal and Regulstory Compliance Peripherals relating to the
upkeep of the Vessel.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Ensure
training and exercises are conducted in accordance with requirements;
- Manage
emergency response with due regard for safety of personnel, FPSO and
environment
- Demonstrate
knowledge and awareness of potential emergency scenarios;
- Ensure
exercises are recorded, effective, with appropriate de-brief and analysis.
Experience/Competence
- Proven
experience and results-oriented career and/or BEng or Degree equivalents
in appropriate engineering subject, OR Marine qualified to Master Mariner/Chief
Engineer unlimited as per STCW Reg.AIII2 and Reg. A. 111/2 respectively;
- Appropriate
period as OIM (10 years minimum); Offshore Personal Survival, Management
of Major Emergencies, DIM Controlling Emergencies, IMCA 891 preferable;
- Medically
fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent;
Extensive knowledge of offshore FPSO operations, including Production,
Maintenance, Engineering and Safety Management;
- High
level of commercial awareness; Exhibit high level of safety and managerial
leadership skills;
- Execute
assignments in accordance to technical, legal and professional standards
of competence;
- Practical
familiarity with standard package; Operation Office and use of Software,
Internet and electronic mail system.
