Mariteam Nigeria Limited - Our client, an Oil and Gas Service Company desirous of rendering qualitative operation & maintenance (O&M) services for offshore units and platforms operating in the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria requires qualified and suitable applicants for the position below:

Job Description

• The Lead Mechanical is to ensure the timely repair and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Manage and Supervise Effectively the mechanical team; Dismantle, Repair and Reassemble Mechanical Equipment;
• Condition & Monitor Mechanical Equipment, Diagnose faults in Mechanical Equipment; Monitor and Maintain Pollution Control Measures;
• Contribute to The Health and Safety of the Working Environment; Emergency Response; Good familiarity with computerized maintenance recording systems; Practical familiarity with standard Office software package.
• Operation and use of Internet and electronic mail system; Appropriate standard of supervisory, technical, and professional knowledge as defined by competences.

Experience/Competence

• HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering preferred or Chief Engineer Certificate as per STCW Reg AIII/2;
• Minimum 10 years offshore experience of which 3 must be at supervisor level;
• Extensive experience in maintenance of oil pumps, gas compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal), water injection pumps, and power generation equipment, FPSO experience deniable;
• Fully experienced with P1W and Risk Assessment Techniques, medically fit to offshore International standard such as ENG1 or equivalent
