Job Description
- The
Electrical Supervisor will exhibit exemplary safety and supervisory skills
in all matters pertaining to electrical maintenance works on and pertinent
to the vessel lie is responsible for ensuring his subordinates are
competent to carry out their allotted tasks and conforming and clarifying
status of electrical personnel (whether UAE, CEP or EO etc.) safety
competence and maintenance related to electrical systems and equipment.
- He
will liaise effectively with other key management personnel.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Maintain
and adjust the condition of electrical assets; Monitor and Assess the
Performance and Condition of Electrical Assets;
- Diagnose
Faults in Electrical Assets;
- Monitor
and Maintain Pollution Control Measures; Manage and Supervise effectively;
- Carry
Out Emergency Response Role; Demonstrate competence during Emergency
Response Drills and training exercises.
Experiences/Competence
- Qualified
to at least B.Sc / HND, or NVQ Level 3 or recognised equivalent in
Electrical Maintenance Engineering;
- Minimum
5 years’ experience preferred, with 3 years offshore petrochemical
experience desired; 3 years proven supervisory experience with prior
Senior Authorised position;
- Excellent
practical knowledge of PTW, Electrical Isolation Standards, Risk
Assessment and Man Management, Power Management, System, Generation on LV
COMP en Ex Coarse;
- Preferred
courses achieved: HV Protection and HVLV Switching;
- Medically
fit to offshore International standards such as ENGI or equivalent; Use
standard Management System Office package electronic mail system and
diagnostic software and equipment as required.
